Concerto Grosso for string quartet and orchestra
I’m very grateful to be able to work on some dream projects these years as composer-in-residence @ Aarhus Symfoniorkester with support from Statens Kunstfond and Dansk Komponistforening / Koda Kultur.
On May 19th 2022, the amazing JACK Quartet and equally amazing conductor Ryan Bancroft will premiere my Concerto Grosso with my favorite orchestra, the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.
Reunited with Ryan
With the premiere of my Concerto Grosso, I’m reunited with the amazing conductor Ryan Bancroft. I’m thrilled to be able to work with Ryan again after the premiere of my double concerto, Nachtmusik, in 2019.
AWAY for orchestra, video and sound
During this winter and spring, I will also work on a new piece for orchestra, video and sound called AWAY, which I will co-compose with Morten Riis.
In this first fase of the project, Morten and I will have sessions with members of the orchestra and the great people at Centre of Advanced Visualization and Interaction (CAVI) / Aarhus University, in which we will research how the technology that we surround ourselves with on a daily basis affects us.
The premiere of AWAY is set to 2023.
