I was a high school student at Viborg Katedralskole, when I heard a symphony orchestra live for the first time. It changed my life. The orchestra back then was Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra has ever since had a special place in my heart. It is therefore almost unreal, that I now get the possibility to fulfil an old dream: I’m the next composer-in-residence for Aarhus Symphony Orchestra from 2017 to 2021. Thank you to the Danish Arts Council‘s Grant Committee for Music and Aarhus Symphony Orchestra for making this happen. I’m looking so much forward to this.
